Thank you for helping us support the study of Canada’s Jewish community.
Your gift helps ensure that current and future generations can access, engage with, and participate in the creation and dissemination of new knowledge and insight about Canadian Jewish culture, history, and heritage.
We welcome gifts of any amount to our General Fund; our scholarly journal, Canadian Jewish Studies / Études juives canadiennes; and our literary journal, Parchment: Contemporary Canadian Jewish Writing. Please select the appropriate fund from the dropdown menu in the donation form. If you are interested in supporting a specific project or programming area, please contact us at donate@canadianjewishstudies.ca.
The Association for Canadian Jewish Studies is a federal not-for-profit, charitable organization. All donations made through this form are tax-deductible. Tax receipts are issued automatically upon donation and are only valid for donors with a Canadian address.
Ways to Donate
Online
We rely on Zeffy, a Quebec-based non-profit, for online donations and tax receipts. Please note that Zeffy automatically includes a 15 percent “tip” on all donations to support their organization. This is not a requirement.
After choosing your donation amount, you may customize your tip or opt to skip one altogether by selecting your preferred percentage or “Other” and leaving the contribution field blank. Please write to donate@canadianjewishstudies.ca if you require further guidance.
Cheque
Donations by cheque should be addressed to the Association for Canadian Jewish Studies.
In order to receive a charitable tax receipt, please include along with your cheque a note with your full name, current address, phone number, and email address.

Our host institution, the Koschitzky Centre for Jewish Studies at York University, is set up to process donations on behalf of the Association for Canadian Jewish Studies.
If you would like to make a donation through York, please visit the university’s donation page and be sure to earmark your donation to the Association for Canadian Jewish Studies, c/o Koschitzky Centre for Jewish Studies.
Your tax receipt will be issued by the university on the ACJS’s behalf.
